I couldn't help but post this little gem from my father's infancy. A feature article on my dad's eating habits in his local newpaper in 1956:

'STEAK EATER- John Daniel Houck, son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Houck, 225 North Penn street, likes masculine dishes such as steak, roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy. He'll be 8 months old Wednesday and already weighs 22 pounds. The lad has eight teeth to use on his substantial diet.'
