I suppose it's time I started to archive some of the projects I have completed over the past few months. It's been a year full of pregnancies and births in my world, inspiring a slew of baby quilts (quite possibly the quickest and most gratifying project there is!) I have been messing around with all different styles and techniques, graduating from knot quilting to machine quilting, and even trying a hand at some applique!
Here is my first one from the summer: Sammy's Turtles. I used a basic patchwork design I sketched ahead of time. It is knot quilted and the binding is hand stitched. I just love these adorable, bold colored turtles for a friend's baby boy.
